The technology i used to create my trailer and how i developed my skills

The programme we used to create our thriller trailer was Premier Pro. At AS media my group and I had to create a film opening to a horror film which we used this software to edit the film opening. As we had little experience using the programme before, we knew we were going to have to step up our knowledge in our A2 production when using the software in order to create a more realistic feel. To help us gain more knowledge we had to spend time out of lesson practising and working out how the programme works and what the different buttons mean. In order to develop our skills we looked on YouTube for help. One of the helpful sources was this video:  

 

We also found websites online which helped and explained to us what the different tools do and what effect they create. I think comparing my AS horror film opening and my A2 thriller trailer I can recognise the improvement in my editing skills in my A2 production and also aware of what I could have done differently with the editing in my AS production to improve it in terms of having better knowledge of the technology and software.
